Clarke handed GB debut

Warrington hooker Jon Clarke will make his Great Britain debut in Saturday's Gillette Fusion second Test against New Zealand in Hull.

The 28-year-old former Wigan and London Broncos player has been called up to replace Bradford hooker Terry Newton, who is dropped from the team that won 20-14 at Huddersfield.

Coach Tony Smith has made two other changes, recalling Leeds duo Kevin Sinfield and Danny McGuire at the expense of St Helens pair James Roby and Jon Wilkin.

Roby, the Super League Man of Steel, has been left out to spend time with his partner, who has given birth to a boy six weeks prematurely.

"Both are fine but James needs to support his family at this moment," said Smith.

McGuire, who missed last week's first Test with a broken hand, takes Roby's place on the bench, with Sinfield reclaiming the loose-forward role after withdrawing last week with a stomach bug.

Sean O'Loughlin switches to the second row, with Jamie Peacock going to prop and Sam Burgess dropping to the bench.
