Collingwood gives England edge

The England all-rounder claimed the wickets of Shane Watson and Michael Clarke at key times after running out Australian opener Tim Paine for a duck.
Callum Ferguson finished 71 not out and Cameron White also registered a half-century but Collingwood and leg-spinner Adil Rashid kept the brakes on and ensured Australia never settled into an attacking rhythm.
Collingwood was in the thick of the action from the third over of the day, when his direct hit from backward point caught Paine three yards short of his ground.
Watson and White rebuilt steadily with a measured partnership but a flurry of boundaries off Stuart Broad and Ryan Sidebottom indicated they were ready to cut loose when Collingwood struck in the 19th over.
Watson, who struck six boundaries in his 46, attempted to clip Collingwood through mid-wicket but misjudged the slower ball and offered a simple return catch off the leading edge.
Australia contributed to their own downfall, when White became the second batsman run out after an accurate throw from Graham Swann in the deep.
Captain Clarke and Ferguson put on 79 for the third wicket but they could not get after the England attack - and when Australia called for the batting powerplay after 43 overs Collingwood popped up to claim another timely wicket.
Clarke had moved to 45 from a pedestrian 72 deliveries when he miscued a drive and Owais Shah claimed the low catch in the covers.
Mike Hussey was bowled by Sidebottom for a quickfire 20 and James Hopes finished 18 not out as they helped Ferguson stage a late flurry to boost Australia's total.
