Collingwood puts brake on Australia

At the halfway point the Australians were 111 for three and England had to thank Collingwood who had a hand in all the wickets.
Shane Watson and Cameron White were looking to cut loose after a steady start when Collingwood came on to make the crucial breakthrough in the 19th over.
In his second over Collingwood fooled Watson with a slower ball and the opener, who was trying to clip the ball on the leg side, saw the ball fly off the leading edge of his bat to dolly up for Collingwood to take the easiest of catches.
It was the second ball Watson had faced after the drinks break and it was a crucial wicket for England because Watson was well set on 46 and looking to cut loose after a steady start after Australia had been put in to bat by England captain Andrew Strauss.
It had been a good morning for Collingwood, who had been in the thick of the action in the third over when Watson called for a suicidal run.
England's best fielder picked up the ball at point and threw in one movement and opener Tim Paine, who had yet to score, was a distance out of his crease when the stumps were broken.
But Australia did not panic and Watson and White, deputising for absent skipper Ricky Ponting at number three in the batting line-up, slowly began amassing a steady total.
It was the Australians who contributed to their own downfall again in the 25th over when White went for a dodgy run off the bowling of Collingwood.
This time it was Graeme Swann who provided the inspired fielding with a superb throw to run out White to leave Australia on 111 for three after 25 overs.
