Cullen leaves Warrington

Head coach Paul Cullen has parted company with Warrington by mutual consent.

Cullen's last game in charge was Monday's 36-28 defeat at home to Castleford - their sixth loss in seven league games.

"Paul served the club with distinction for 25 years as a player, assistant coach and finally as head coach. We wish him well for the future," said Warrington chairman Lord Hoyle.

Cullen's assistant, the former Great Britain hooker James Lowes, has been placed in temporary charge of the Wolves, although their next game is not until June 8 against Harlequins.
