Diouf in U-turn on Senegal

Bolton forward El-Hadji Diouf has reversed his decision to retire from international football.

The former Senegal captain, who starred at the 2002 World Cup finals, decided to quit earlier this month in protest at what he felt was a lack of organisation in the country's Football Association.

But in a statement released in his homeland on Tuesday night, the 26-year-old said: "(I am) very sensitive to the different queries concerning my decision to suspend my activities within the national team. I have decided - with humility - to rejoin the national team of my country which I love deeply."
