The pair defeated Joshua Goodall and Ross Hutchins 4-6 6-3 10-5 for their fourth tournament win of the season.
Goodall and Hutchins, who were only handed a wildcard for the event last week, continued their whirlwind week by taking the opening set, having gained what proved a decisive break in the third game on Murray's serve.
Having already missed two opportunities at 0-40, they made it third time lucky when Murray could only net a powerful Hutchins return.
The third seeds had two chances to break back immediately when Hutchins volleyed wide of the tramlines but the 22-year-old held serve.
Goodall then looked vulnerable at 0-30 when serving for the set but he dug deep with some excellent serves. But Murray and Butorac hit back to take the second set.
The pair gained a break at the first opportunity when Hutchins was unable to keep the Scot's powerful groundstroke within the court to go 2-0.
And after missing three opportunities to take the set at 5-2 on Goodall's serve, Butorac served out to love to force a first-to-10 match tie-breaker, which they won 10-5.
It went with serve until Goodall volleyed long on the eighth point to make it 5-3 to the world number 42 and his partner.
The pair gained a further mini-break to go 8-5 ahead when Goodall could only volley into the net before Murray kept his cool at the net to seal victory with the first of four championship points.
