Dragons stun Bulls

Catalans Dragons staged arguably the greatest comeback in Challenge Cup history to oust Bradford in an astonishing fourth-round tie in Perpignan.

The Bulls looked to have secured their place in the last 16 when they led 26-0 after 43 minutes but conceded seven tries in a remarkable 26-minute spell in the second half to crash to an ignominious 40-38 defeat.

St Helens remain firmly on course for a fourth successive Carnegie Challenge Cup triumph after seeing off Super League champions Leeds 22-18 at Headingley.

England forward Jon Wilkin was the hero for the holders with a superb display, which included two crucial 40-20 kicks, despite playing out of position at stand-off.

Teenage star Stephen Myler scored a dramatic late try as Salford claimed a 22-18 win to send 2008 runners-up Hull crashing out of the cup.

Super League side Wigan were given a scare at Championship club Barrow, who pushed them all the way before succumbing to a 32-20 defeat.

Castleford's fine start to the season continued as they eased to a 64-20 victory over Keighley at Cougar Park to book their place in the fifth round.

Conference title challengers Wath Brow were hammered 54-16 at Featherstone, who never looked back after Joe McLocklan's sixth-minute try, while Championship One side Oldham overcame French side FC Lezignan-Corbieres 60-30.

Batley edged past Hunslet 28-24, while Gateshead saw off Doncaster 32-18 to book their place in the fifth round.
