Dragons swoop for Lee

Newport Gwent Dragons have announced the signing of former New Zealand Test scrum-half Danny Lee.

Lee, who scored a try on his All Blacks debut against England in 2002, has agreed a two-year deal with the Magners League side.

"Danny has been a proven performer at the highest level in New Zealand rugby over the past few years," said Dragons head coach Paul Turner. "As a former All Black, Danny brings a tremendous pedigree and experience to the region, and not only will he be a valued addition to the side, but we are confident that he will help develop our emerging scrum-halves."

Lee will link up with a number of other New Zealanders at Rodney Parade, including current Dragons skipper Tom Willis.
