Els in trouble against Stenson

Pre-tournament favourite Ernie Els went into lunch in his World Match Play Championship semi-final with Henrik Stenson one down after a disjointed morning round.

The South African endured a torrid time with his putter on the famous Wentworth course and will be grateful he only has a one-shot deficit to try and claw back against the Swede when they resume their clash later this afternoon.

In the other semi-final US Open champion Angel Cabrera, who knocked out defending champion Paul Casey on Friday, was again in imperious form as he took a three-hole lead against Hunter Mahan going into their afternoon round.
