England chasing 183 for victory

Stuart Broad continued his emergence into a high-quality international player to help England restrict New Zealand to a modest total in Saturday's third match of the NatWest Series in Bristol.

The Nottinghamshire seamer has been a key member of England's one-day side for the last two years, but delivered his most economical spell to date as New Zealand were dismissed for 182 after being put into bat.

Given the new ball, Broad bowled all his 10 overs in one spell and finished with two for 14 - the most economical figures of his 29 one-day international career - and set the tone for an impressive bowling display from England.

James Anderson returned figures of three for 61, while Grant Elliott held the New Zealand innings together with a well-made 56.
