Matt Prior's 87, his highest score in a one-day international, and 75 from Owais Shah helped England to 328 for seven, their third-highest score in 50-over history.
Their stand included 55 runs from the five overs of the batting powerplay, which England opted to take after 37 overs.
They were able to express themselves against a wayward West Indies team thanks to the platform laid by captain Andrew Strauss, who struck 52, and Ravi Bopara, who fell one run shy of a half-century.
Two early wickets with the new ball for England effectively sealed their second comfortable series win over the West Indians inside a month.
Veteran Shivnarine Chanderpaul hit 68 but the required run rate had climbed to 12 per over by the time he shovelled a delivery from Stuart Broad to midwicket.
Broad finished with figures of two for 63, with James Anderson three for 58. Tim Bresnan and Graeme Swann also claimed one apiece as England cruised to the comprehensive series win.
