England duo play waiting game

England are crossing their fingers and hoping for positive news about the fitness of all-rounders Andrew Flintoff and Ravi Bopara as they move down to London for the NatWest Series finale.

Flintoff (left ankle) and Bopara (dislocated right thumb) will be assessed in the build-up to Wednesday's sixth one-day international against India at The Oval.

Captain Paul Collingwood, whose side suffered a 38-run defeat at Headingley on Sunday, said: "Obviously, the medical staff will assess them over the next couple of days and then make a decision."

England currently lead the series 3-2 with two games remaining.
