England in command

Having dismissed the Bangladeshis for just 143 in Barbados, England were well set to complete their chase in good time - and significantly boost their net run rate - at 50 for two after 15 overs.
Ian Bell succumbed for nought, slicing to point off left-arm seamer Syed Rasel in the fourth of six overs possible before the scheduled 45-minute interval.
England captain Michael Vaughan should have followed before the break when, on six, he edged behind off Rasel only for Mushfiqur Rahim to fluff the chance standing up to the stumps.
Vaughan's side resumed on 20 for one and Andrew Strauss displayed greater attacking intent when he pulled fast bowler Mashrafe Mortaza for six over midwicket and followed up with a cut for four later in the same over.
But Strauss perished when he fell across his stumps to be pinned leg before by a ball angled into him from Rasel.
That brought Kevin Pietersen, who needs 87 in two innings to become the fastest player to 2,000 one-day international runs, to the crease.
Earlier, after Vaughan won the toss at the new-look Kensington Oval, the extra pace and bounce in the surface troubled the Bangladesh top order.
Their eventual total represented something of a recovery from 65 for six as Sajid Mahmood and Monty Panesar each claimed three wickets apiece, the latter's three for 25 representing career-best figures.
