England one-dayer in doubt

20 January 2009
A delayed start was the best the teams could hope for - and with the square under full cover, England were yet to venture from their hotel to the ground an hour before the match was scheduled to get under way.
Paul Collingwood and James Tredwell might therefore have to wait before they achieve respective career landmarks.
Tredwell, flown out two days ago as cover for injured spinner Graeme Swann, has been touted for a possible debut.
Collingwood, meanwhile, is in line to become an unlikely record-breaker as England's most-capped ODI player - needing one more appearance to go above former captain Alec Stewart's 170.
Should there be no play, the next opportunity for Collingwood and Tredwell will come at Centurion on Sunday.
