England unchanged in Colombo

England named an unchanged side for today's fourth one-day international against Sri Lanka.

Successive victories in Dambulla have given England a 2-1 lead in the five-match series as they attempt to secure their first major limited-overs series win in 20 years on the sub-continent.

Those back-to-back wins persuaded captain Paul Collingwood and coach Peter Moores to retain the same line-up despite the misfiring top order.

Opener Alastair Cook was particularly fortunate to survive after over 51 runs in his past six one-day internationals while his opening partnership with Phil Mustard is yet to provide a half-century stand.

Sri Lanka were forced into their first change of the series with leg-spinner Kausal Lokuarachchi coming in to replace all-rounder Farveez Maharoof after he failed a fitness test on his back strain.

But for the second successive match Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first as they sought the victory which would take the series into a decider at the Premadasa Stadium on Saturday.
