Fabregas: My future's at Arsenal

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has once again re-affirmed his commitment to the Gunners.

The 21-year-old Spaniard was given the armband by manager Arsene Wenger following William Gallas' controversial outburst and has enjoyed successive victories in his first two games in charge - the last at Barclays Premier League title rivals Chelsea on Sunday.

Fabregas said in a statement to the club's official website: "I am honoured to be wearing the captain's armband for Arsenal and I am 100% committed to this club. My future is here."

The Euro 2008 winner is always at the centre of transfer rumours, the latest sparked by comments he made to an Italian newspaper concerning AC Milan, a club Fabregas admires.

However, the Gunners skipper - who is contracted at Emirates Stadium until 2014 - maintains he has no intentions of taking his skills anywhere else in the immediate future.

"It is true that I said I admire Milan for their rich history and the way they play football - but that is as far as the story goes," he added.
