Falcons swoop for Jones

The 24-year-old, who can play at either fly-half or full-back, returns to Kingston Park having spent three seasons with the Falcons Academy.

Falcons rugby director John Fletcher said: "Steve offers us quality at both fly-half and full-back, as well as a good goalkicking option, which will be vital for us during the international windows when we can expect to be without Jonny Wilkinson and Toby Flood."
