Federer serves up win over Soderling

Federer fired down 23 aces as he battled past Sweden's Robin Soderling in a repeat of the recent French Open final, the five-time Wimbledon champion winning 6-4 7-6 (7/5) 7-6 (7/5).
Spain's Juan Carlos Ferrero became the first wild-card entry to reach the quarter-finals since eventual champion Goran Ivanisevic in 2001 with an impressive victory over Gilles Simon.
Ferrero, who knocked out 10th seed Fernando Gonzalez in the previous round, disposed of eighth seed Gilles Simon on Court Three, winning 7-6 6-3 6-2 in just under two hours.
Novak Djokovic continued to progress almost unnoticed through the men's draw as he claimed his place in the quarter-finals with a straight-sets victory over Dudi Sela. The Serbian saw off the world number 46 from Israel 6-2 6-4 6-1 in just 89 minutes.
Lleyton Hewitt showed all his fighting spirit as he battled back from two sets down to defeat Radek Stepanek 4-6 2-6 6-1 6-2 6-2 in their fourth-round match on Court Two.
Sixth seed Andy Roddick defeated Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic 7-6 6-4 6-3 to reach the quarter-finals.
Germany's Tommy Haas powered into the quarter-finals with a straight-sets victory over Russian Igor Andreev.
Haas, the number 24 seed, won a thrilling five-set match against Marin Cilic in the third round and only needed three sets to see off 29th seed Andreev. He won 7-6 (10-8) 6-4 6-4 and will face Djokovic in the last eight.
Ivo Karlovic, the 22nd seed, defeated Fernando Verdasco of Spain 7-6 (7/5) 6-7 (7/4) 6-3 7-6 (11-9) in their fourth-round match.
