Fergie expects Heinze return

Wantaway Manchester United full-back Gabriel Heinze is expected back at training on Monday and manager Sir Alex Ferguson warned: "I hope he turns up - he has been instructed to."

Heinze is the subject of a £6.8million bid from Liverpool but United are refusing to sell the Argentina left-back to their top-flight rivals.

The Premier League are currently examining papers from all sides and are expected to confirm in the next few days they will look into the situation.

After watching United beat Chelsea 3-0 on the penalties in the Community Shield, Ferguson said: "We'll see him (Heinze) on Monday. Maybe.

"I hope he turns up. He has been instructed to turn up."
