Fiji have nothing to lose

The deeply religious Bati squad gathered in the middle of the SFS on Saturday morning to pray together, breaking into song before a light training session ahead of Sunday night's showdown with the star-studded Kangaroos.
"We just blessed the ground and come Sunday we've got nothing to lose," coach Joe Dakuitoga declared. "To come this far is a blessing from God."
He added: "If you look back to the start of this competition everybody wrote us off. We came as underdogs, so to be here is a big boost to our development back home.
"Before we came here we set a goal to reach the final so now we're in the semi-finals and we'll see how we go.
"We're going to come and give 110% against Australia."
Bookmakers give Fiji no hope of pulling off the biggest upset in international league history, offering 50 points start to those willing to back the pacific islanders. But the visitors do not share the bagmens' pessimism.
"It's a blessing in disguise. This is what they did to us against France but we managed to come out on top," Dakuitoga said of the points start.
Prop Ashton Sims joked: "(Skipper) Wes Naiqama was trying to explain it (how points start works) to me and I don't think we've got half a brain between us so I didn't really get it.
"We're not coming into this game thinking of losing. We want to keep playing how we've been playing and hope for the best result."
