Flintoff rehab on course - Graveney

Chairman of selectors David Graveney believes Andrew Flintoff will be ready to return to action in the one-day series against India, which starts on August 21.

The Lancashire all-rounder, who had a third ankle operation in June, will play a batsman-only role for the county's second XI game against Derbyshire at Blackpool this week.

"Andrew Flintoff's rehab is on course and there are not the same deadlines we have had in the past," Graveney told Radio Five Live. "The original plan was for him to be fit for the one-day series and I haven't seen or heard anything to the contrary."
