Foxes set for Allen talks

Allen, 41, guided the Dons to the Coca-Cola League Two play-offs this season and has emerged as a surprise candidate to succeed Rob Kelly, who was sacked last month.
A statement released by the club read: "Leicester can confirm that they have been given permission by MK Dons to speak to Martin Allen with regards to the vacant managerial position at the Walkers Stadium."
Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric revealed earlier this week that former Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock had joined Nigel Worthington on the shortlist to fill the position but it looks likely that Allen could get the nod.
The statement continued "Chairman Milan Mandaric has drawn up a shortlist of managers as he continues in his search for a new boss. Mandaric will now hold formal talks with Allen later this week as part of the on-going recruitment process."
