Fulham make double Hammers swoop

Fulham have signed striker Bobby Zamora and defender John Pantsil for a joint fee of £6.3million.

Zamora, 27, had been at Upton Park since January 2004 when he joined the east London club from Tottenham.

"I am delighted that we have reached an agreement to enable me to play for Fulham next season," Zamora told Fulham's official club website.

"I am looking forward to joining the rest of the team this week and preparing for the new campaign."

Ghana international Pantsil joined the Hammers in August 2006.
