Galaxy undecided on Becks loan

It appears Galaxy general manager Alexi Lalas and coach Frank Yallop do not see eye to eye on what should happen with the former England captain after November when the MLS season closes down.
Lalas is not necessarily against such a deal. He told Sky Sports: "We would always consider any possibility that would either make the player better as a soccer player and a more valuable asset, or playing with another team on loan if we felt it made proper business sense."
There have been suggestions that Beckham, who is joining the Galaxy in July on a five-year £125million contract, could return to Europe on loan with one of the leading clubs.
Moves to Spain, Italy and England - Newcastle are reportedly interested in a loan deal - have been hinted at.
However Lalas added that players have a responsibility to "maintain their physical and mental health".
Yallop, though, believes rest and recuperation is the best policy for Beckham and all players when the season ends.
He said: "It is a long season and a long pre-season. Players need that break. They will need to take a rest and I do not see any loan deal with David going anywhere."
Yallop also concedes England manager Steve McClaren, who has called up Beckham for the friendly against Brazil on Friday and the Euro 2008 qualifier against Estonia, may well look to play the 32-year-old Real Madrid midfielder in further matches.
"He will assess how well he does and may want him to come back for further games," said Yallop. "We`ll cross that bridge when we come to it."
