Ganguly aims to revisit Lord's past

Former India captain Ganguly returns to the home of cricket this week having been through plenty since that stunning hundred in his first innings.
"The frame of mind I had before the first time I played at Lord's is probably the best I've had in my whole career," said Ganguly. "I've not had it again in the last 11 years even though I've scored runs all around the world; I wish I could get back to that mindset for this Test match."
He added: "I didn't have any nervousness, I didn't have any fear of failure when I came here in 1996.
"It's the age factor. When you're young you don't worry about a lot of things which you start doing once you play a lot and grow older. I was more carefree and enjoyed the full five days of the Test match."
While Ganguly, who has a passable if modest average of just over 40 in his Test career, has been surpassed in most things by Sachin Tendulkar - but by having his name on the honours board at Lord's he is one-up on his colleague.
Tendulkar, 34, is regarded as the finest player of his generation, has scored more Test hundreds (37) than anyone in history and became the first man to pass 50 international centuries in all.
But for all his stunning achievements, the lack of a Lord's landmark is a glaring omission on the curriculum vitae.
After nearly two decades as the main focus of India's frenzied media, however, he is far too cute to admit it is his driving force on his final tour of England.
"I don't want to put any pressure on myself at not being able to achieve that," he insisted. "I've not been able to do it in Test cricket but I played in a game against the MCC and I managed to get a hundred then. This is a ground where all the batters dream of getting a hundred and I'm no different."
