Gibbs is the 11th member of Arsenal's first-team squad to join the injured list and was replaced after 21 minutes of the goalless draw in Vilnius.

Johan Djourou (knee) is a long-term absentee, while Jack Wilshere, Lukasz Fabianski, Theo Walcott, Armand Traore and Carlos Vela have all suffered recent injuries and are yet to return to full fitness.
