Gordon prepared to stay put

The 24-year-old Scotland shot-stopper accepts his own appreciation of his worth may not reflect actual market value, but he finds it hard to believe any club would pay an eight-figure fee for his services.
Gordon told Hearts World: "I don't think any player's worth that to be honest. You're only worth as much as someone's willing to pay, and that's for the club to decide. If they want to sell me during the summer they'll need to find a bid that's suitable for them."
He added: "I'm more than happy to come back and fight for Hearts next season and try to get us back in Europe at the end of next season."
The Hearts captain has been linked with clubs as diverse as Bayern Munich and Fulham, with Manchester United, Rangers and Arsenal also reportedly keen.
He had been expected to leave in January, but after finishing the season at Hearts is in no rush to go to the board with a transfer request.
"The ball is very much in their court. I still have two years left on my contract and I'm not banging down the door asking to get away," said Gordon.
"It's entirely up to them. If they decide to cash in on me and take some money for me, then that's their prerogative and I'll listen to whatever offer comes in, but if it's a good offer for me I'll be happy for that.
"If it's not, I'll look forward to the start of the new season here. There's no rush for anybody, me or any of the clubs."
