The left winger touched down in each half to take his tally for the season to 12 and edge ahead of his former Manly Sea Eagles team-mate Chris Hicks, the Warrington right winger whose 68th-minute try came too late to affect the outcome.
Donald's first try, a superb solo effort on 28 minutes, brought the Rhinos level after Warrington had made the brighter start and took the lead with Louis Anderson's eighth-minute try.
Luke Burgess, Rob Burrow and Carl Ablett also crossed for the Rhinos as Kevin Sinfield took his goal tally to six.

The points were effectively in the bag by half-time as Saints touched down five times through Sean Long, Leon Pryce (2), Francis Meli and James Roby.
Paul Wellens, Pryce, Matt Gidley and Ade Gardner (2) all struck after the break to take Saints' try tally to 10.
