Green in dreamland after Hanley arrival

Former Salford and England boss Karl Harrison was among the names being linked with the vacancy at the South Yorkshire club, who pulled off something of a coup with the capture of Hanley.
"A few names were thrown around and when Ellery's came up I laughed it off to be honest," said Green. "I thought there was no chance."
He added: "Like a lot of the other lads, I thought it was just a bit of publicity which would have been good for the club but to actually see him here and confirmed as coach is unbelievable."
The former Great Britain captain and coach, who took St Helens to the Super League title in 1999, signed a three-year contract to succeed former Saints forward John Stankevitch as coach at the Keepmoat Stadium.
He met the rest of the coaching staff and the part-time players for the first time at training on Friday night and will next week start preparing them for January friendlies at Keighley and Hunslet.
Hanley's arrival at Doncaster is seen as a key component in the club's bid to reach Super League by 2012 and Green has no doubt about his likely impact.
"He won't have to motivate the players," he said. "To be honest, a lot of them will feel a bit uncomfortable around him to start with because he's such a massive player in rugby league.
"Everyone knows his name and all the players, especially those around my age, will have watched him play for Great Britain."
Hanley must kick-start his coaching career from the bottom after Doncaster were relegated from National League One this year after breaking the Rugby Football League's insolvency rules.
