Haddin makes hundred

Wicketkeeper Haddin followed captain Ricky Ponting, Simon Katich and sixth-wicket partner Marcus North in reaching three figures as Australia piled up 649 for five in Cardiff.
England failed to take a wicket in the first half of the third day as Haddin raced from 50 at lunch to his second Test hundred in just 48 deliveries.
A spree of three consecutive fours off James Anderson lifted the tempo after lunch and Haddin then hauled a delivery from Graeme Swann over midwicket for six to bring up the tourists' 600.
Haddin, like North playing in his first Ashes encounter, then played the shot of the day when he deposited Monty Panesar for a straight six via some exquisite footwork.
He celebrated lavishly after leg-glancing a single off medium-pacer Paul Collingwood, having set up Australia's victory bid with his 138-ball hundred.
