Hamilton banking on British backing

Hamilton goes into the final grand prix of a remarkable season in Brazil in control of his own destiny. Second place will guarantee Hamilton the title, regardless of the finishing positions of rivals Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen.
And the 22-year-old said: "I want to say thanks to all the British fans who have supported me this year, especially when I was at Silverstone (in the British Grand Prix), It was mind-blowing to see so many people there, so I just want to say to them 'continue supporting me'."
Hamilton holds a four-point cushion over McLaren team-mate Alonso, while Ferrari star Raikkonen is a further three adrift.
Hamilton knows he has the support of a nation behind him, and he is determined not to let down his army of followers.
He added: "I'm only 22, so there are many, many years ahead of me and many opportunities to win the world championship.
"If it doesn't happen this weekend, keep pushing, keep supporting me and maybe it will happen next year or the year after."
