Hatton dismisses Roach trash talk

Pacquiao takes on Hatton in the Englishman's light-welterweight division at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in only his third fight above 130 pounds. The Manchester hero, meanwhile, is unbeaten at his natural 140 pounds and against southpaws like the star from the Philippines.
For Hatton (45-1, 32 KOs), his trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr's antics are no surprise but the 'Hitman' sees a possible sign of uncertainty for Pacquiao, (48-3-2, 36 KOs) saying; "Floyd's like that seven days a week, twice on Sunday. Freddie Roach, generally, is a nice guy who doesn't have too much to say and I think this is the most vocal I've ever heard him."
He added: "So maybe they're a little bit over-confident. I don't know, but when someone starts acting a little bit differently from what they normally do...as I say, Freddie's a nice, quiet man.
"Freddie normally doesn't say anything while you can't shut Floyd up."
Hatton said the difference between the two camps was that he believes Mayweather's validated can be proven in the ring.
"I don't get involved with what the trainers are saying but one thing I do know concerning trash talk, we do still believe every word Floyd says.
"Even though he's confident and he's probably said a little more than what he should do at times, it's not that we don't believe it.
"And I don't believe Floyd as a trainer would put his reputation on the line being so vocal and over confident if he didn't think I was going to do it.
"I don't think he would risk that."
