Henman aims to shake losing habit

Henman hoped the transition to grass at the Artois Championships would spark a change in fortunes but instead he was left to reflect on an embarrassing 6-7 (5-7) 6-2 4-6 defeat to 18-year-old Croatian wild card Marin Cilic.
Henman has exited six of his seven tournaments this season in the first round and the British number two admitted: "I think first and foremost it's a confidence thing. Obviously not playing enough matches and not winning them doesn't help."
He added: "I would love it if there was one specific magic ingredient I could change, but it doesn't exist.
"I'm in a rut right now and I've lost a lot of matches. I would love to play horrendously and win.
"I don't want to keep hitting the ball well and losing. People talk about getting on a roll, when winning becomes a habit, but the same is true with losing.
"I've been doing a lot of losing recently and I've got to try and break through that. The only way I can achieve that is by winning."
