Henman faces frustrating wait

The British number two is down to play fourth on Court 6 at Roland Garros, but the rain which has played havoc with the schedule on the opening two days is once again forecast for Tuesday.
Only 14 first-round clashes have been completed so far, and organisers will be faced with the prospect of a further back-log of matches if the rain does not stay away. Weather forecasters have predicted more showers for the rest of the week, with Friday expected to be worst hit.
Henman and Gulbis have been forced to wait patiently, with the top half of the men's draw playing first.
The Briton has at least been given more time to size up his unheralded opponent.
Gulbis, currently ranked 84th in the world, is flying the flag for tennis in the Baltic state where the sport is still developing.
"I am the first player from Latvia to be in the top 100 in the world," Gulbis said.
"The people in Latvia are now getting more and more interested in the sport because of my progress, and many people will be watching now that I am here at Roland Garros to see how I perform.
"We have played in the Davis Cup and beat Bulgaria in Latvia, and that was a boost for Latvian tennis in the country and many younger players want to play now. I'm maybe more of an attacking player not a defensive player so clay is not my favourite surface, but I know it is not his (Henman's) either so we will see who is better."
