Hull expected to accept fine

The east Yorkshire club were fined £100,000 - £40,000 of it suspended for 12 months - for playing Jamie Thackray in the opening two rounds of the Cup before he was placed on the Cup register.
Hull, who will have seven days to appeal against the fine once they receive written confirmation of the verdict, are expected to issue a statement but are likely to accept their punishment.
Having been told by the RFL board of directors in May that they would not be thrown out of the competition, Hull received a 50% share of the gate receipts from their quarter-final with Bradford and will cash in on a capacity crowd for their last-four clash with the Wildcats at Doncaster on July 27.
FC, who meet Wakefield in the semi-finals later this month, were found guilty of a breach of the Rugby Football League's operational rules when they appeared before a three-man independent tribunal in Leeds on Monday night.
The net £60,000 fine is the most handed out by the RFL, beating the £50,000 fine Wigan received in 2006 for a breach of the Super League salary cap, while Hull were fined £50,000 - £30,000 of it suspended - after their fans invaded the pitch at Huddersfield following a Challenge Cup semi-final in 2000.
