Jeffries back at Wakefield
11 January 2009
Jeffries, who turned 29 last week, scored 69 tries from 143 appearances in his first spell with the club from 2002-07 before moving to the Bulls, where he has so far made 45 appearances.
The former St George and Wests Tigers stand-off, who had been expected to join Celtic Crusaders, has agreed a three-year deal with the Wildcats from 2010.
"It's good to be coming back and I can't wait to wear the Trinity colours once again," he said.
"I'm joining the club to win silverware and with the other signings the club have made I think we have got a very good chance of doing that."
Jeffries becomes the Wildcats' fifth major signing for 2010 following the acquisition of Bradford pair Terry Newton and Glenn Morrison and overseas duo Daryl Millard and Shane Tronc.
Wakefield coach John Kear added: "I obviously know Ben from his time here first time round and I'm delighted to have him as a part of our squad for the next three years.
"He is a very talented player with lots of Super League experience behind him and he still has his best years ahead of him."
