Jol desperate for winning feeling

Spurs lost 3-1 at Newcastle to heap further pressure on Jol as they have still only won one Premier League game but the Dutch coach is convinced his team will come good.
Jol siad: "I feel if we get one result, the confidence will be there. But after the Liverpool game, they all went away on international duty and then we had to come to Newcastle, so the schedule doesn't help."
Asked if confidence was a problem, he added: "You could say that was from the start of the season, but I cannot agree with that because if you lack confidence, you cannot lead 2-1 against Liverpool, come back from 4-1 down to 4-4 (against Aston Villa), be 3-1 up against Fulham and could have scored five..."
Aside from the worries over his own future, Jol will also have an anxious wait to discover how serious Gareth Bale's foot injury is.
Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce admitted his new-look side is ahead of schedule.
The 52-year-old has overhauled his team since replacing Glenn Roeder during the summer - six of his new signings started the game, including the entire back four - but saw them cement their eighth place in the Premier League table.
Allardyce said: "If we can get something against Reading (on Saturday) - if we can actually beat Reading, then we would be well ahead of the schedule, I would say.
"But we still have big teams to come. We have not played them yet, but where Tottenham have finished over the last two years, they are a big side and they have spent big, big money over the last four years and have big players, but we beat them comfortably 3-1."
