Jones ruled out of autumn Tests

Duncan Jones has become the latest player to be ruled out of Wales' entire autumn Test series.

The 52 times-capped prop follows his Ospreys colleague Gavin Henson in missing the remaining November meetings with Canada, New Zealand and Australia - due to a foot injury.

"Duncan has had a long-term bone problem in his foot which has recently flared up," said Wales team physiotherapist Mark Davies. "It is likely that he will now be in plaster for a period of time."

He added: "We are currently taking specialist advice before predicting when he will be able to make a return, but we know he will not be available to us for our matches against the All Blacks and the Wallabies."

Jones has been replaced in the Wales squad by Cardiff Blues prop John Yapp, who starts against Canada at the Millennium Stadium.

Blues wing Tom James, meanwhile, will remain with Warren Gatland's squad following Henson's withdrawal because of an Achilles problem.

James initially linked up with the squad to provide cover, and he would have started against Canada had full-back Morgan Stoddart not passed a fitness test on an ankle injury.

Henson was selected to face the Springboks, but then pulled out less than 24 hours before kick-off.

He is likely to be sidelined for a month, which will also impact on the Ospreys' next two Heineken Cup games in December.
