Khan dismisses Prescott bravado

The South American arrived in Manchester predicting he would take the WBO Intercontinental title away from Khan before 12 minutes had elapsed.
But the Bolton fighter said: "He is a known fighter in America and has topped the bill over there but I am going to do what I normally do, I'm not going to give the guy a chance."
He added: "He can say what he wants, that he is going to knock me out in four rounds.
"I think he has made a big mistake saying that because it shows that he is a four or five-round fighter.
"What's going to happen when he goes past four rounds? He's not thought after that. He's not thought ahead and so he will be in trouble after four rounds."
Promoter Frank Warren finds himself in the position once again of building his protege up while dampening down expectations from those who believe Khan should be fast-tracked to the point where he is taking on the best fighters on the planet.
Warren admits he often stands alone when under pressure to push Khan forward too quickly.
He said: "I'm always the guy who has to do that but what can I do?
"His career is in my hands. It's a responsibility for me and I don't want to screw up. I've got to make sure that when he gets to the stage of fighting for a world title he can win and go on and defend it."
