Kinnear wants N'Zogbia to stay

Newcastle boss Joe Kinnear has told French midfielder Charles N'Zogbia he is going nowhere.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a January move to Paris St Germain in reports coming out of France.

However, Kinnear, who has handed his own list of transfer targets to executive director (football) Dennis Wise, insists none of his first-team players will be leaving despite his acknowledgement that he will have to sell before he can buy. "Charles N'Zogbia is not going anywhere," the interim boss said.

"He is still part of my plans and he still has a future at this football club, and talk of me granting him a transfer is not only incorrect, it is absolute rubbish," he added.

"My aim whatever time I have here is to build up our squad and not to get rid of any of our first-team players."
