Langley commits to Bulls
04 January 2007
The 23-year-old, who had been in the final year of his previous deal, has committed himself to the club until the end of the 2010 season, and he said: "I'm just pleased to get it all sorted. We've been in the process for a few months now but I'm really happy at Bradford.
"They're a great club, going in the right direction with the coaching staff and playing personnel we've got. I've obviously been happy with my own performances over the last year and saw no reason not to stay."
England international Langley joined the Bulls as a schoolboy and has made 112 appearances and scored 27 tries since his debut in 2002.
Bulls coach Steve McNamara sees Langley as one of the rising stars of his side, and said: "He's a fantastic person and a great athlete, very knowledgeable on the game and a potential captain of this club if he keeps progressing in the same manner.
"Jamie's a real leader and it was very, very important we sorted his future out here with Bradford.
"I definitely reckon he's good enough to win Great Britain honours if he carries on improving like he is, maintaining his consistency, and it's great to have him on board."
