Latics coast past Ipswich

Premier League Wigan gave Ipswich a lesson in finishing as they beat the Championship side 4-1 in Carling Cup at Portman Road.

The visitors took the lead with Lee Cattermole's first goal of the season on 51 minutes.

They were briefly pegged back by the hosts through a Jonathan Walters volley but hit back with goals from Olivier Kapo and Paul Scharner. Substitute Henri Camara made it 4-1 with a volley in stoppage time.
