Latics sell Landzaat

The transfer ends an 18-month stay at the JJB Stadium for the Holland international, who cost the Latics £2.3million from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2006.
Assistant manager Eric Black confirmed: "This will maybe come as a surprise to people. But it was an offer that was very interesting for him, and the gaffer has agreed to let him go."
Landzaat made 54 appearances for Wigan, including 48 starts in the Premier League, scoring five goals, including three this season.
After returning to Holland on Thursday for talks, it is expected the 31-year-old will sign a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Manager Steve Bruce is closing in on Watford striker Marlon King, with talks apparently having already taken place between the two clubs.
King has scored 11 goals this season for the Hornets as they push for an immediate return to the top flight where he netted four in 14 games last season in an injury-hit campaign.
"We've shown an interest and it's ongoing," added Black. "Fulham are obviously interested as well, as are another couple of clubs because he's obviously done exceptionally well for Watford this season."
A move to Fulham broke down last week due to medical concerns, and Black concedes it is a matter that will be addressed should they come close to signing King.
"You are obviously concerned with something like that," added Black. "But if something did happen then we would obviously have to satisfy ourselves that it wasn't an ongoing problem and wouldn't be a problem in the future."
