Lippi tips Gunners for Euro glory

World Cup-winning coach Marcello Lippi believes any of the four English clubs remaining in the Champions League can win the trophy but believes Arsenal have the edge.

The Gunners are one of four Barclays Premier League teams in Friday's Champions League quarter-final draw and while Lippi - who won the Champions League with Juventus - believes the quartet are all strong, it is the north London club who receive his backing.

He told the Daily Express: "Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all very strong teams but at the moment it is probably Arsenal who are the ones playing the best football in Europe."

He added: "They manoeuvre the ball very well, it's very fast and very technical.

"United play great football and Sir Alex Ferguson is the type of manager able to renew his team.

"Every four to five years he brings his side back to an excellent level of top-class football.

"Any of these four English teams could potentially win the Champions League but at the moment the way Arsenal play is the one I like best."
