Luke has the Wright stuff for England

Luke Wright took a stunning catch and two wickets to help England break through at Lord's in the second NatWest Series match against Australia.

Australia, after being asked to bat by Andrew Strauss, had moved to 62 without huge alarm before Wright leapt at cover to get rid of Shane Watson off Tim Bresnan's bowling.

Wright then dismissed Tim Paine, who skied to Eoin Morgan on the boundary, and forced Michael Clarke to glove down the leg side to wicketkeeper Matt Prior. It left Australia 103 for three at the halfway stage of their innings.

Australia's openers had looked comfortable until Wright's intervention, with a big leg-before appeal from James Anderson the closest England came to getting Watson out early.

The first two wickets involved players drafted into the starting XI. Bresnan replaced injured all-rounder Stuart Broad, who was ruled out with a neck strain suffered while diving in the field in the opening loss to the Australians at the Oval on Friday.

The problem has restricted mobility in Broad's right shoulder, although the England medical team are confident he will be available for Wednesday's day-night contest in Southampton.

Morgan, meanwhile, came in for Yorkshire leg-spinner Adil Rashid, who was dropped despite figures of 10-0-37-0 and a valiant, unbeaten 31 on Friday.

Australia made a positive start through Watson and Paine but Wright's catch marked a spell of three wickets for 11 runs in 27 balls. It meant Cameron White was given his chance to impress at number three and he was joined at the crease by Callum Ferguson.
