Maccarinelli suffers damaging loss

The popular Swansea cruiserweight, a former WBO champion, was looking to bounce back after a shock defeat by Ola Afolabi in March.
But at the MEN Arena in Manchester Maccarinelli suffered a crushing third-round stoppage defeat against unbeaten Russian Denis Lebedev.
Maccarinelli has been struggling to rebuild his career since being demolished by British rival David Haye in March last year.
But he admitted there is little left in the tank after being comprehensively outclassed by the dominant Lebedev.
Maccarinelli looked uneasy from the first bell and was clearly an easy target for his Russian opponent.
Lebedev seized his opportunities with relish, landing regularly with the jab and left hook.
Maccarinelli was unable to keep his man at bay and when a good right hand rocked him, a series of unanswered left hooks prompted referee Terry O'Connor to step in and wave the contest off.
"I don't feel I've got it in me anymore," said the Welshman. "I thought I had but I haven't."
