Massa heads into Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix aware Lewis Hamilton could wrap up the championship if the Briton wins and he finishes no higher than fifth.
"There is pressure all the time," said the Brazilian, who looked considerably more relaxed than his rival when facing the media on Thursday. "When you become a Ferrari driver you have pressure at the start of the season, the middle of the season and the end of the season."
He added:"It doesn't matter the position you are in, you have pressure, but it is a different kind.
"Being in a different position now, maybe the pressure is a bit different from the one if you are doing a bad job or if you don't score points for two races like I did at the start of this season.
"But it is always the same thing. There is always pressure to get results, whether you are first or last in the championship."
Exuding a positive air, Massa added: "I feel quite good, I feel in a position to do my job in the best way I can and hopefully we will do it the right way.
"Hopefully we can achieve what we want, and that is the way I am thinking at this moment.
"It was the way I was thinking in the last race, the races before and it will be the way I think for the next race as well."
