McDermott wary of Warriors backlash

A Matthew Gafa try and 14 points from the outstanding Paul Sykes gave the Londoners a psychological advantage ahead of their quarter-final showdown at the JJB Stadium, but McDermott knows his team will have their hands full repeating the trick on Friday night.
He said: "We will play a different Wigan side on Friday but I have no problem with playing them twice in a week. We have a formula that works against Wigan and we have upset them. But we are more concerned about our game, and our focus is to get fitter and fill up our tanks for the Challenge Cup."
He added: "Matt Gafa is a big bloke and he can physically handle the nature of being in the back-row.
"He has got an engine for it and I am pleased he managed to get a try."
It was the visitors who got off to the perfect start when Chris Ashton touched down after four minutes.
Pat Richards missed two kicks for the visitors and he was made to pay when Sykes levelled the scores with a well-taken try on 28 minutes.
Two kicks from the 25-year-old put Quins ahead at the break and on 48 minutes a great break by half-back Mark McLinden set up Gafa for a simple score.
Trent Barrett's try pulled Wigan back into the game but further kicks from Sykes sealed the win for Quins. And Warriors boss Noble was left frustrated at his side's recent inconsistency.
He said: "We have to find an answer because one week we are getting Jekyll and one week we are getting Hyde. I am disappointed that we can't get an element of consistency in our game."
