McLeish refuses to call on Shota

Arveladze played under McLeish at Ibrox and the Scotland boss met up again with his former charge at the Scots' team hotel on Tuesday - but picking the brains of Arveladze, who has since retired from international football after playing against Scotland at Hampden in March, was not on the agenda.
McLeish joked: "Shota is the King of Georgia and I told him we are in his country! He said to me, 'if you need anything, my brother is available'. But I never asked Shota anything about the Georgia team and I wouldn't have compromised him in that way. We know enough about Georgia as it is."
He added: "They've lost Shota and some other players so they are down on numbers. We know that coming into this game there is an expectation level that says that this should be a formality for us. But it is a tough game."
