McLeish wants to face England at Euros

The prospect of England and Scotland failing to qualify for the finals has led to speculation both sides could face each other on a home and away basis at the end of the season and McLeish, while amenable to the suggestion, hopes any potential meeting would be in either Austria or Switzerland.
He said: "If it happens it happens but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. It sounds pretty romantic and it would be nice to have a crack at England at Wembley then see them reciprocate by coming up here. But hopefully it would be in the European Championship finals, although that would maybe be more difficult."
The Scots are only one victory away from guaranteeing themselves a place in the finals of a major tournament for the first time since 1998 - but they have to face World Cup holders Italy at Hampden on November 17.
England are also precariously placed. Russia are now only two points behind with a match in hand and if they can win in Israel next month, with only part-time Andorra to play in their final game, it is they and Croatia who are likely to go through to the finals in Austria and Switzerland.
Meanwhile, McLeish refused to comment on claims he was offered the Bolton job last week.
It was reported the former Rangers boss was approached by the Lancashire club before they appointed Gary Megson as replacement for Sammy Lee.
McLeish, however, was keen to focus on his future rather than events last week.
"As far as Bolton is concerned, I'm not going to say whether there was an offer or not, I'm not prepared to comment on that," he said at an anti-racism initiative at Lesser Hampden.
"But I am committed to Scotland's cause and we have a huge game to look forward to."
